Dr. Rocco Fiato, BioAccelergy’s Founder and Chief Executive Officer, brings over 30 years of experience in the oil and gas industry as a member of the executive staff for ExxonMobil Research and Engineering Company. He’s been active in programs with the U.S. Department of Defense, the National Science Foundation, the National Research Council and has served as a representative to the 2019 U.S. DOE - China Ministry of Science Workshop on Carbon Capture Utilization and Sequestration.

Michael Griffinger

Founder & General Counsel

He is a Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers, the International Academy of Trial Lawyers, and the American Bar Foundation. His practice has been focused primarily on sophisticated corporate and commercial disputes, securities litigation, and antitrust matters. He recently retired as a senior partner and Director of Corporate and Commercial Litigation at Gibbons Law.

Jeroen de Swart

COO

Dr. de Swart has served as a Chemicals and Energy industry executive with 20+ years of experience in Chemical Engineering, Renewables and Waste Management. He served as an executive and advisor in the US and Europe for ExxonMobil with assignments in deploying new technology in

the energy and chemicals sectors. Jeroen served as Commercial Advisor Domestic Market, ExxonMobil Gas Marketing Company, as Regulatory Advisor, Esso Aardgas, Den Haag.

Frederick Walsh

CFO

Mr. Walsh has been an investor, officer, an advisor in various private companies in the US and Asia, and is currently an advisor to East 50 Advisors, a financial advisory group based in Bahrain. Mr. Walsh spent 23 years at Morgan Stanley in various departments including Mergers and Acquisitions, Risk Arbitrage, and International Equities. He served as President of Morgan Stanley Capital
International and President of Morgan Stanley Trust Company.

Frederick Walsh

Founder & Technology Counsel

He co-founded Weil, Gotshal and Manges’ patent litigation and counseling group, where he represented companies in patent, infringement and other technology litigation. Previously, Mr. McMahon was Chief Patent Counsel of Schlumberger Limited, where he headed a 30-lawyer Patent Department responsible for matters concerning the development, acquisition, protection, licensing, enforcement and use of technology and intellectual property rights for worldwide subsidiaries.

Kenneth Trachte

VP of Technology Development

Dr. Trachte offers over 30 years of experience in R&D in the areas of synthetic fuels and lubricants production with focus on new technologies for Alternative Fuels Production. Dr Trachte previously served as Director of Product Development at Accelergy Corporation where he led the R&D and pilot plant programs in the US and China in collaboration with the Beijing Research Institute of Coal Chemistry.

Marcia McInnes

Director of Field Operations

After a long and successful career as a Fellow of the American Board of Pediatrics, and a practicing pediatrician, Dr. Marcia McInnes is serving as Director of Field Operations for BioAccelergy Ventures microbe systems technology development. In her current role, Marcia manages all operations at the Hionis Muirfield Greenhouse in NJ, as well as full-scale field tests in the Permian in West Texas, and with the Crow Tribe and Northwest Tribal Alliance in Montana, North and South Dakota.

Jason Gregory

Head Molecular Biologist

Dr Gregory is head of our plant molecular biology programs where he is focused on the functional aspects of microbial biofertilizer efficacy with a range of conventional food and seed oil crops. He completed undergraduate studies at Cornell University with emphasis on plant breeding and genetics, a masters degree at Johns Hopkins on biotechnology and a doctorate at Rutgers University on plant molecular biology.

William R. K. Innes

Bill spent most of his career with ExxonMobil and its Canadian affiliate, leading the chemical and petroleum business in Canada, Exxon’s Chemical Business in Europe and serving as CEO of Exxon in Japan. As President of ExxonMobil Research and Engineering Company Bill had responsibility for the corporate research and the research engineering capital project management supporting forty-four Refining and marketing businesses worldwide..

Bill served as a director of Imperial Oil, Esso Sekiyu, and Tonen Corporation.

Alfredo M. Lopez

Board of Directors

Dr Lopez served as Director of Process Development in the Baton Rouge Laboratories of Exxon Company, U.S.A.. He was technology coordinator in the refining and planning department of Exxon Company International in 1989 and manager of Exxon Research and Engineering’s Projects Department in 1991. Al served as Vice President of Corporate Research and as Vice President of Research and Development, of ExxonMobil Research and Engineering Company,

John Wright

Board of Directors

John retired as Executive Vice President of Owensboro Grain – Cargill after a long and successful career. He served as Vice President of Operations in 1989, and then as Vice President of Strategic Planning and Business Development in 1999.  In 2016 John and Rocco Fiato formed Owensboro Grain & Accelergy BioSpecialties Inc with successful construction and operation of a 1500BD soy ester hydrogenation facility, that together with all other operations was purchased by Cargill in 2022.

Brent Gwaltney

Brent Gwaltney retired as the Chief Executive Officer of Consolidated Energy Ltd. Headquartered in Wollerau, Switzerland. Consolidated is the world’s second largest producer of methanol and one of the world’s top producers of nitrogen products with operations in Trinidad Tobago, the United States and Oman. Previously, Brent was CEO of Consolidated Energy’s USA based business in Houston. He oversaw all aspects of the company’s natural gas to methanol plants, including Pampa Fuels in Pampa, TX, as well as the Big Lake Fuels facility located in Lake Charles, LA.
